The Kuba people of Democratic Republic of Congo have carved ornate cosmetics boxes for centuries.
The boxes are traditionally used for Red Tukula - camwood powder, often mixed with palm oil.
We have acquired a set without lids, and as such, are able to offer them at MUCH less cost than the highly collectible pieces with original lids. Each is unique and original. All have traditional Kuba carving and come in a variety of sizes.
These boxes are perfect as tabletop trays for jewelry, keys, palo santo or whatever you choose.
