First release from the reuse / upscaling of the leather table pad used at the MS Studio over the past 7 years. The pad aged beautifully and bears the marks of countless pieces made right on top of it. Note the rings from coffee cups, small impressions from threading needle, pen marks, dye spots and more.
Peter Maxwell of Made Solid has added two lines of serpentine tooling prior to shaping the tray by hand.
The leather is beautiful 8/9oz Hermann Oak vegtan tooling strap. It holds it’s shape very well due to it’s tight grain from natural tannage. It will continue to age/patina with your use!
